Dr. Jane Saldaña-Talley serves as the Santa Rosa Junior College Vice President in charge of district-wide Institutional Planning and Effectiveness and Chief Administrator of SRJC’s Petaluma campus. Jane joined SRJC in July 2007 after spending five years in Phoenix, Arizona as the Vice President of Administrative Services at Paradise Valley Community College, one of ten colleges in the Maricopa Community Colleges District. She was formerly Dean of College Planning and Budget at Modesto Junior College. Prior to that she was Dean of Allied Health/Family and Consumer Sciences and occasional adjunct psychology faculty at MJC, Vice President for Student Services at Columbia College in Sonora, and Director of Research and Planning for the Yosemite Community College District. Dr. Saldaña-Talley’s career also includes experience in a variety of other educational settings including the California Department of Education, a large urban K-12 school district, the University of California, California State University, and a county office of education.
Dr Saldaña-Talley holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Davis/California State University, Fresno Joint Doctoral Program, and her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Psychology from California State University, Fresno.
