Dear Friend of SRJC Petaluma,

We know that the COVID crisis has hit the community hard in so many ways. We hope you, your family, and your businesses continue to be healthy in this ever-changing environment.

It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the 9th Annual Building Community Breakfast and Fundraiser, with featured speaker Ken Wayne of KRON4 News, originally scheduled for June 4, 2020.

While we originally had postponed the event, with the continued shelter-in-place guidelines and likely prohibition on group gatherings, the window of opportunity to hold the event has closed.

The current situation has only illustrated to the Friends of Petaluma Campus Trust how important the support provided by our community to SRJC students has become.  The SRJC Petaluma Student Engagement Center, which was to be the focus of our efforts for the 2020 Breakfast, has been operating its Basic Needs Resource program during this closure. The program has taken a central role of connecting students to emergency funding, fresh and packaged food distribution, CalFresh benefits, housing opportunities, and more.  And our Student Success Team of peer coaches have been playing a pivotal role in helping students to stay in their classes and complete them via remote instruction.

If you or your business has the means to give as you would have at the Breakfast, we would appreciate your on-going support and certainly understand if you are not in a position to do so at this time. You can access the donor page at Please indicate the Petaluma Giving Fund.

We appreciate all you do to support Santa Rosa Junior College and look forward to joining you at next year’s event.

Best to you and yours,

Lori Enochs, Chair, Friends of Petaluma Campus Trust
