My main teaching experience has been at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in the United Arab Emirates, where I was an assistant professor of political science in the Department of International Studies from 2014 to 2020. While at AUS I taught a wide array of political science and history courses, such as Introduction to Politics, The American Political System, Comparative Politics, International Organizations, American Foreign Policy, Fascism and the Populist Radical Right in Europe, The European Union and the Politics of Integration, and The Making of Modern Europe. As faculty adviser to AUS's Model United Nations (MUN) program during my years there, I also oversaw growing the annual MUN conference hosted at AUS from a little over 500 delegates to more than 1,200 participants. This made it the largest MUN conference hosted in the UAE. I have also taught various political science courses at the University of California, Riverside, Occidental College, and at Boston University.
