Dr Pamela Wittenberg has been teaching SRJC Veterinary Technology courses since 2014, and human anatomy courses in the Biological Sciences Department since 2018. She received her veterinary degree from UC Davis with an emphasis on small animal (dog & cat) medicine, and studied anatomy, paleontology, and animal behavior as an undergraduate and graduate student at UC Berkeley and Duke University. Throughout her academic career, she has taught and tutored students at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. In addition to her duties at SRJC, Pam teaches KidVets classes and summer camps in Santa Rosa, where elementary students learn about the wonders of science and animals. When she's not teaching students of all ages about science and veterinary medicine, Pam practices veterinary medicine at local veterinary hospitals and community clinics in Sonoma County.
