PC 220

I was born in Lima, Peru and immigrated to the United States in 2003. My family and I settled in Sonoma County. I am a former SRJC alumni and transferred to Sonoma State University where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History in 2015. After graduation, I worked for Gateway to College as a Student Success Specialist. I returned to school and earned a Masters in Counseling from San Francisco State University in 2019. As a graduate student, I interned at the SRJC for two years and worked with programs such as Puente, APASS and EOPS. Most recently, I served as adjunct faculty for general counseling and EOPS. As a student who was first-generation, immigrant, formerly low-income and ELL, I strive to support and advocate for students from diverse language, cultural backgrounds and abilities.
