You can now view your 2026-27 financial aid information in Bear Cub Hub. Eligible students will receive notifications as aid is processed, and they can log in at any time to review their award information, outstanding requirements, and next steps.

2027 AAPD Paul G. Hearne Emerging Leader Award

AAPD is accepting nominations for the Paul G. Hearne Emerging Leader Award, honoring emerging leaders with disabilities for leadership and advocacy. Two recipients will each receive $25,000: $10,000 for their contributions and $15,000 to advance a project expanding opportunities for people with disabilities.

A recipient can be an individual or a pair (2-person group). The award recipients will be honored among national disability leaders at the virtual 2027 AAPD National Community Event in the Spring.

Health Services Lending Library

The HOPE Program is excited to announce the Health Sciences Lending Library! The Lending Library is open to all SRJC students and provides access to textbooks and school supplies for Health Sciences courses at no cost.

Interested students should fill out the form attached to the QR code. HOPE Staff will reach out with more information.

The EOPS application is open for the Fall 2026 semester. 

Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS)  is a program that helps full-time, low income, educationally disadvantaged students achieve their academic goals at SRJC. We hope to make the college experience accessible and rewarding to those facing English language, social, or economic challenges.

Petaluma intercultural Center

We the future fellows 

We the Future Fellowship will guide and mentor you through a research initiative grounded in social justice, equity research, and leadership development. 

Fellows will engage in a structured learning experience which will provide various opportunities to analyze and interpret data within social systems and how to apply it towards activism and/or policy change.

The fellowship will conclude with a capstone project and public presentation at our annual We the Future Social Justice Conference. 

Sound of our Stories

Tuesday, September 15 | 12 - 1PM | Café Patio

Join us each month for the Sound of our Stories Campus Community Luncheon. The monthly series will create a recurring, student-led performance space where participants are invited to center their cultural identities, lived experiences, and creative traditions through dance, music, spoken word, poetry slam, storytelling, and other expressive art forms. Each event will be free and open to the SRJC community and hosted on campus.

Students who perform will be given a $50 incentive. Sign up HERE

This campus community event is funded by a grant from the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Randolph Newman Cultural Enrichment Endowment.

El Salvador: A History of Struggle and Self Determination

Wednesday, September 16 | 12 - 1:30 pm | Student Engagement and Success Center

Professor Laura Larqué will lecture on El Salvador’s history and the Salvadoran migration to the United States. This event is part of Herencia and the WOLM lecture series in celebration of Solito: A Memoir by Javier Zamora. This event will be in English and in collaboration with the Petaluma Intercultural Center. For questions, please reach out to interculturalpet@santarosa.edu.

The WOLM lecture series concludes with a talk with Javier Solito and will be livestreamed to the Petaluma Campus on Thursday April 8 at 11am.

Identity & leadership Summit

We're hosting a summit where students can explore identity and leadership together and develop in the way it shapes the way they show up as leaders, and how to move from awareness into actual advocacy and activism.

August 24th - December 11th 2026 During Library Hours

Relax in the Mahoney Library Gallery and enjoy the amazingly creative works by students from SRJC, Sonoma State University, Sacramento State, Petaluma High School, and the Artstart artists. The artists' creative processes are featured in the upper display cases. Recology Sonoma Marin has shared waste and recycling tips in the lower cabinets.

"We Teach Our Sons to Kill Wild Geese" is a gorgeous art installation by Noah Mote from Sacramento State University. He is one of the 2026 TRASH artists who participated in the summer residency art program.

Your library provides short term access to many of the textbooks required for your SRJC course. Some textbooks are also available online.

Student Health Services

Student Health Services will be open for medical appointments on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00AM - 4:00PM in the Richard Call Building on the Petaluma Campus. Call 707-527-4445 or stop by during those times to make an appointment.
 

Sexual Health Clinic

First Wednesday of each month

The first Sexual Health Clinic will be on Wednesday, September 2nd from 1:00 - 4:00PM in the Student Health Clinic on Petaluma Campus. 

Call 707-527-4445 to make an appointment. Birth control, STI testing and more! This clinic will be available every first Wednesday of the month.
 

WEE 95 - Open Fall Course!

Are you interested in earning CSU transferable units for volunteering in the community? WEE 95 may be the course for you! This course is a self-directed student volunteer program designed to facilitate experiential learning and service to the community. Volunteer placements include animal care facilities, clinics, day care centers, hospitals, recreation programs, schools, senior care centers, and various social service agencies. Note takers may also take this course. High School students are also welcome! Students volunteer 52.50 hours per unit per semester for 0.50-3.00 units.
