Join us on Friday, October 2 from 10 am – 2pm to learn:

- from Community Leaders what leading in both your identity and intersectionality means
- how to build coalitions for cultural advocacy, education and celebration
- what it takes to be a culturally grounded and socially conscious community leaders

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Byron Reaves.  

Spend coordinated time with community leaders from each of the following organizations:

Learn how to start a club. SRJC Petaluma Council and Clubs is co-hosting this event as part of their Club Rush! Take your new learnings, and put it into action! Lunch provided. All are welcome!

LumaFest 2026

Join us on Saturday, October 24 from 11AM–3PM, for our vibrant LumaFest 2026 Educational Open House & el Día de los Muertos Community Celebration. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the energy and diversity of our community through live music, cultural performances, explore college and career pathways, connect with SRJC programs, and more! Trick or Treat Resource Fair

Wednesday, October 28th | 11AM-1PM 

Get connected with resources on campus while trick or treating on campus! Start your trick or treating quest in the Student Engagement and Success Center (Mike Smith Hall, Building 500). Pick up your basket and a map to locate participating campus resources. Get connected with departments and learn about resources while eating treats!

Petaluma intercultural Center

Sound of our Stories

Thursday, October 15th | 12-1PM | Café Patio

Join us each month for the Sound of our Stories Campus Community Luncheon. The monthly series will create a recurring, student-led performance space where participants are invited to center their cultural identities, lived experiences, and creative traditions through dance, music, spoken word, poetry slam, storytelling, and other expressive art forms. Each event will be free and open to the SRJC community and hosted on campus.

Students who perform will be given a $50 incentive, sign up HERE.

This campus community event is funded by a grant from the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Randolph Newman Cultural Enrichment Endowment.

HOPE Program

TEAS Workshop

Open to all SRJC students! Join the HOPE program for our Fall 2026 TEAS Prep Workshop Series covering Math, Reading, English & Language Usage, and Science. Attend one session or the full series. Most workshops are offered in person at Doyle Library and via Zoom. Limited ATI TEAS study books are also available to borrow.

Health Services Lending Library

The HOPE Program is excited to announce the Health Sciences Lending Library! The Health Sciences Lending Library is open to all SRJC students and provides access to textbooks and school supplies for Health Sciences courses at no cost.

Interested students should fill out the form attached to the QR code. HOPE Staff will reach out with more information.

EOPS Program

EOPS Application Closed for Fall 2026

Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS)  is a program that helps full-time, low income, educationally disadvantaged students achieve their academic goals at SRJC.

The application is currently closed for the Fall 2026 semester. It is not guaranteed that the application will reopen in Spring 2027 semester. Program capacity will be evaluated at the end of the semester.

10,000 Degrees Black College Expo Field Trip 

Saturday, October 3rd | 10AM-3PM @ sacramento State University

We are hosting a field trip to attend the Black College Expo College Fair on Sat Oct 3rd, 2026 from 10AM - 3PM at Sacramento State University. It’s a great opportunity to explore college options, speak with admissions reps, learn about HBCUs, and connect with students. You can also win scholarships and get admitted to colleges on the spot. This is a FREE field trip with transportation and lunch provided.

Imagination Box: Beautiful TRASH Exhibit

Have you seen "Hi! I'm Delicate, the Trash Sketchbook" by Sanaz Kiesbye at the Beautiful TRASH exhibit in the Mahoney Library Gallery? Now you can add to the "Recycled Stuff Sketchbook."  Stop by the Circulation Desk in the Library to check out the Imagination Box: Beautiful TRASH. Use donated items, which would otherwise have been discarded, to create a page for this community book project.

Sexual Health Clinic

First Wednesday of each month

The first Sexual Health Clinic will be on Wednesday, September 2nd from 1:00 - 4:00PM in the Student Health Clinic on Petaluma Campus. 

Call 707-527-4445 to make an appointment. Birth control, STI testing and more! This clinic will be available every first Wednesday of the month.
