Fall 2026 EOPS Application Now Live!
The EOPS application is open for the Fall 2026 semester.
Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) is a program that helps full-time, low income, educationally disadvantaged students achieve their academic goals at SRJC. We hope to make the college experience accessible and rewarding to those facing English language, social, or economic challenges.

We the future fellows
We the Future Fellowship will guide and mentor you through a research initiative grounded in social justice, equity research, and leadership development.
Fellows will engage in a structured learning experience which will provide various opportunities to analyze and interpret data within social systems and how to apply it towards activism and/or policy change.
The fellowship will conclude with a capstone project and public presentation at our annual We the Future Social Justice Conference.
Sound of our Stories
Tuesday, September 15 | 12 - 1PM | Café Patio
Join us each third Tuesday of each month for the Sound of our Stories Campus Community Luncheon. The monthly series will create a recurring, student-led performance space where participants are invited to center their cultural identities, lived experiences, and creative traditions through dance, music, spoken word, poetry slam, storytelling, and other expressive art forms. Each event will be free and open to the SRJC community and hosted on campus.
Students who perform will be given a $50 incentive. Sign up HERE
This campus community event is funded by a grant from the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Randolph Newman Cultural Enrichment Endowment.

El Salvador: A History of Struggle and Self Determination
Wednesday, September 16 | 12 - 1:30 pM | Student Engagement and Success Center
Professor Laura Larqué will lecture on El Salvador’s history and the Salvadoran migration to the United States. This event is part of Herencia and the WOLM lecture series in celebration of Solito: A Memoir by Javier Zamora. This event will be in English and in collaboration with the Petaluma Intercultural Center. For questions, please reach out to interculturalpet@santarosa.edu.
The WOLM lecture series concludes with a talk with Javier Solito and will be livestreamed to the Petaluma Campus on Thursday April 8 at 11am.

Come to the art reception at the Mahoney Library Galley on Thursday, August 27, 4:30-6:30pm. Enjoy a snack and art from the Recology Artstart Student Hub (TRASH) residency. Art is by students from Petaluma High, Sacramento State, SRJC, Sonoma State University, and the Artstart assistant and mentor.
