WIN a $400 Bookstore Voucher! Every visit to a resource and workshop seminar is an entry into an opportunity drawing. Student will be selected on Monday 8/14 and notified immediately. Download the MySRJCApp in advance of attending so that you can simplify your drawing entries.

9am-3pm

  • Admissions & Records
  • Counseling
  • Library (sign up for technology loans and pick up at Welcome Day)
  • Bookstore (open until 3:30pm!)

We have a full day of activities to help you feel welcomed & connected. Join us for all, or drop in when you can!

11am - 2pm

  • Event Check In
  • Get help with your Cubcard Virtual ID. We will support you with activating your ID, and if you wish to purchase the Cubcard Premium, you will receive discounts on textbooks purchased.
  • Have fun and make friends! DJ Music, Lawn Games, Inflatable Obstacle course. 

12 noon - 1pm

  • Meet the new SRJC President! Join us in the outdoor patio,  lunch amongst friends, and have the opportunity to connect with Dr. Garcia and other SRJC friends. 

1-2pm

  • Resource Fair. Visit booths set up to introduce you to resources, leadership, student life opportunities, and SRJC Petaluma Faculty
  • Lunch on your own for those who arrive later

2pm

  • Group welcome in Ellis Hall. Join your Student Success Coaches and Executive Dean to build community and learn about our afternoon workshops. 

2:30-3:30pm

  • Session 1: Meet your English and Math Professors. (Ellis Auditorium) Open forum to ask questions themed with "things your fellow students wish they knew before their first midterm", and how to be successful in Math and English during your first year.

  • Session 2: College 101. What Parents Need to Know. (Call Hall 641) Parents, or supporting family members are invited join us for an overview of how to support new college students through their first year and beyond. 

  • Session 3: Are you returning to education after taking time away? (Call Hall 639) Students who are starting college after being away for five or more years are invited to join an info session for a warm welcome back, and to learn about resources tailored to your specific needs
