Kick off the day in Ellis Auditorium with a warm welcome from your Student Success Coaches and campus Deans! Come connect with fellow students, get the inside scoop on the day's workshops, win prizes, and start building your campus community.

Join the Peer Coaches of the Student Success Team for this interactive session. Topics will include how to balance your time as a college student, campus resources, and how to build your network of support.

Whether you're just getting started or have questions along the way, this workshop is here to help! Get hands-on assistance with completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA), learn key financial aid terms, and stay on top of important deadlines so you don’t miss out on the support you’re eligible for.

Student Supporter Session (English): College 101: What Parent, Guardians, and Supporters Need to Know

If you're a parent, guardian, or family member supporting a new SRJC student, this session is for you! Join us to learn how you can best support your students during their first year and help them thrive in college. This session will be followed by a campus tour from 11:15am - 12pm. 
 

Student Supporter Session (Spanish): Estudios del Futuro: Caminando Juntos en el Camino

Estudios del Futuro: Caminando Juntos en el Camino Universitario es un taller en español diseñado para estudiantes y familiares que deseen aprender más sobre Santa Rosa Junior College. Se hablará sobre lo que ofrece el colegio, la transición hacia un colegio comunitario, las diferentes trayectorias académicas (como CSU, UC), y cómo cuidar el bienestar emocional y académico durante este camino. Esta sesión será seguida por un recorrido por el plantel de 11:15 a.m. a 12:00 p.m.

Education Planning Workshop (EPW) - Pre-registration required 
Call Building Room 643 or Room 644 | 12:30-2:30 PM 

This workshop is intended for new students that have just finished high school in 2025, including students who participated in the high school dual enrollment program. During the workshop, a Counselor will go over things to know about completing your degree or certificate and assist you in determining your first semester classes. Need help registering for classes, logging into your student portal, or figuring out your next steps? Visit the Enrollment Services Lab or Tech Support Lab for hands-on assistance. Plus, get support in registering your device on the SRJC Petaluma campus WiFi, and getting your bearcubs email setup.
