Attend the Spring Student Research Conference

Join us for the Petaluma Student Research Conference, where students showcase original research, creative projects, and hands-on innovations. Explore a wide range of disciplines through engaging poster presentations, connect with student scholars, and celebrate the spirit of inquiry and discovery. Prizes will be awarded to top presentations—come support and be inspired!
Fashion Studies Introduces Mending Bar
The campus community is invited to the Fashion Studies Mending Bar at Climate Ready Cotati on March 28th from 10 AM to 2 PM. This second annual event focuses on sustainability, where fashion students will offer garment mending and repair services.
Attendees will learn to create DIY iron-on patches and explore the basics of Sashiko stitching. Educators are encouraged to share this with students and consider offering extra credit for attendance.
The event will take place at the Cotati SMART Station. Admission is free.
Discover Joy and Resistance at We the Future 2026!

Join Santa Rosa Junior College and North Bay Organizing Project for the 9th Annual We the Future Social Justice Conference.
This year’s theme explores the connection between joy and resistance—how creativity, culture, and storytelling help communities sustain themselves and imagine new futures.
Keynote Speaker: Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez
Writer, organizer, and public intellectual focusing on undocumented and formerly undocumented Latine communities.

SRJC Fashion Show – The Equinox

Inspired by the balance between night and day, The Equinox explores identity, creativity, rebellion, and hope through fashion.
Tickets go on sale March 27.

Foster/Adopt Puppies
North Bay Animal Services is seeking foster homes for:
- Frosty (Female)
- Jet (Male)
- Brownie (Female)
- Spotification (Female)
These 4-month-old puppies are fully vaccinated and great with other dogs.

President Hosts Pop-Up Chat Event
On March 10, President Dr. Angélica Garcia hosted a Pop-Up event on the Petaluma Campus. Students, staff, and faculty gathered to enjoy pizza, connect, and learn about student clubs and engagement opportunities.
Sonoma County Golf Classic
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is hosting its First Annual Sonoma County Golf Classic on July 13.
The foundation honors firefighter Stephen Siller and supports:
- Families of fallen first responders
- Gold Star families
- Injured veterans
- Efforts to end veteran homelessness
